If you're looking for the traditional "Mom and Pop" type motor lodge, this is it! The place apparently has bit of a negative reputation, but it has new owners and management and they are heavily investing in the Inn. Security lights make the parking are LITERALLY as bright as daylight, security cameras abound, and the staff is super friendly and attentive to needs. Don't let the sketchy outward appearance fool you; they are renovating from the inside out. If I have need of a motor lodge again while in the area (doubtful, as I'm moving to Indy next week), Skyline would be my first choice!
Friendly staff . my room was very clean. No bed bugs or roaches. Nice small fridge with freezer. I recommend it to ppl who need a place to stay.
They were booked. But the front desk lady. Was amazing , she went above and beyond with her courtesy, kindness and helpfulness. Would recommend a stay here. Simply for the staff!

Stayed at the Skyline for almost a year and a half. It's not the Ritz for sure but if we could afford.. The main reasons we chose the Skyline were the price and the pet policy. We payed $25 a week for our dog. That was the only pet "rule"...other pet friendly hotels had rules like dog had to be kept in a crate or what not. We felt safe there. Cameras are in use and monitored steadily. Law enforcement and the owners had good accord. We at first had a bed bug issue but that was quickly dealt with. The owners and the staff are friendly, respectful and efficient.
The owners are working every day to clean the place up its quite friendly and cozy easy intrrstate access fast food and groceries close by in walking distance pet friendly for a small fee free hbo and cable vinding machines and laundry at the hotel
Every time me and my friend get a room in Sky light is always Pleasant the young ladies that signed us to the room is always Pleasant to talk to and always helpful and her and I both enjoy I'll stay I give it a 10 star
They are remodeling,but this motel is the best place I've been in. Everyone is nice and respects you as long as you do the same to them. They accept pets for only 30 a week ,if you're staying weekly. I can't thank the staff and owner enough for how great they are.
In my experience, the skyline is usually a place for people who don't make enough to pay rent at an apartment and face homelessness. The homeless shelters in Indianapolis are not very great so sometimes this place is all they have. Its also for the disabled that make a small income. This isn't the Marriott, but it's home to most. The staff is friendly and will do their best to assist residents.
I like the location of the Skyline Motel because you are close to everything. The rooms are clean an nice they do not bother you . It is nice an quiet .
